In the past few days the internet, the blog sphere, youtube has been on fire with the video shown above. If you have a spare half an hour and you haven't see this video, just watch it. It was so crazy the impact I saw a friend sharing this link yesterday at 7AM before I went to work. By the time I got to work 14 friends shared this link, by lunch time it doubled. This video have been watched at an average of 9.5 million views a day. At the time I'm typing this line I read 70,909,478 views Posted .
What makes this video so special? How did it gain so much fame?

Well let me tell you, is about people, Two days ago I didn't know who Joseph Kony was and I'm likely just like you who learned about Kony because everybody is talking about him on your facebook newsfeed or twitter. Why don't we know of the atrocities he has been committing for 26 years? I tell you why. We live in a narcissistic society consumed by glamour and our own selves, we live in a "not my business society" the media wont report something that has nothing to do with the area they are from and unfortunately the news of Joseph Kony went as far as the countries surrounding Uganda. His army is a big as the NYPD 30,000 all of them abducted "orphan" children. I quoted orphan because there's a reason they are orphan. He forces them to commit the biggest crime a human being can commit and that's killing their own parents and immediate family. That's why he doesn't have family members trying to take their children away from him. 30,000 rebels without a cause just seeking to kill, mutilate probably steal. If I was you, I should be very concerned. Sure they are not an army of let say hundred thousand, don't have any nuclear weapon. But 30,000 with the wrong intentions that's just too many people.
It gets even worse, because society have been so self consumed, sometimes just being stupid posting ridiculous ads on craigslist, posting meaningless status updates, checking in in their bathroom, bed etc (that's stupid) rather than use that time to do something better for society. Hold that thought people I'm coming back to this. Because of people being so self consumed, we don't really know if the army grew, what kind of technology he has, what kind of weapons he has. And to be honest I would never know about Kony, Why? because the media in the USA would never air that story, maybe once and then get erased from memory with something that happened in New Jersey or one neighborhood from New York or California. If it wasn't because of the man behind this video, if it wasn't because of my facebook peers spamming Facebook posting this link, I would never know.
Remember I say we can do better for society? this is what I'm talking about. Russia and Mexico two countries I haven't visit and I live thousands of miles away from those countries are my top 2 and 3 readers. Maybe you are in Uganda reading this. I'm in United States, but here we have no boundaries Facebook, Twitter have become some sort of cyber country bigger than United States and Russia together and to be honest more powerful than a weapon. Why? Because is fed by the ideas of regular people like you and me. If you move toward minute #20  of the video above, in 2010 Obama sent troops to aid in the capture of Kony that was because they got fed up with the massive campaign the group Invisible children was doing on Facebook and beyond. See? we can annoy the government sometimes and force them into taking action. The good thing of social networking is that we can share an idea across the world as slow as 2 hours and to be honest no plane takes two hours from Japan to New York, we have broken the speed barriers, is time to put it to use for better, for a better society. You know what's even better about this? You watch the news and you may not see it again, but Youtube is a blessing, you can just continue playing over and over and sharing the video again and again just to keep the memories fresh.
Sometimes an idea can take you far. In this case film maker Jason Russell and two friends traveled to Uganda in 2003, they come across this hell, decide to take matters in hands delivering raw footage, talking to people in Washington but nobody heard them. Why? Again self absorbed society. Since there's not economic interest, and the USA safety wasn't endangered, that's not our war. But they were strong about their idea, their fight and decided to continue fighting. They created the association called "invisible children inc" in allusion to the fact that nobody knew of these children's suffering or some saw and ignored. Well let's make those children visible that was the idea behind it. Their dedication, motivation, hard work led the United States to send troops to help. Now they are pushing to keep everybody aware, and make sure United States don't withdraw. Why would United States be involved. Well I have two reasons. Number one, is a major power, and two you don't know what can happen if we let Kony in anonymity to continue his atrocities, what if he decides to invade other countries? Oh now is your problem right?
Usually I watch this channel on youtube is this guy who plays Hitler, how Hitler would react to today's society, I watch it, only because I know how evil Hitler was I decided to take a look at what he thinks of Kony (see link below) one thing that had me laughing hysterically was that he said "Sick monster" Now, I'm not justifying Hitler I'm not offending here I know I have some Jewish readers please don't take this out of context. Comparing both monsters nobody is more perverse than Kony I don't know if is because I'm leaving in the era of Kony not Hitler. Hitler committed serious crimes, Kony is committing serious crimes making matters worse is committing them on his own people, the people he should be defending, what's worse is against children, more than a million left their houses running away from his army of abducted children trying to protect their own. If they try to escape, they die, he revived slavery only for women. He make girls his sex slaves, IS TIME TO PUT A STOP ON THIS, I mean, I time to make a change. And yet he gets even worse. he talks about peace, Talks about the lord in fact his army's name is "lord resistance army" he talks about peace but send the children he "recruit" to kill the parents, talks about peace while causing even more tragedies. I hope you understand why I categorize Kony as more perverse than Hitler. Hitler? we can't do nothing about him, he's still alive as a character on Youtube that's it. But Kony is alive is time to stop him.
When internet started decades ago, I didn't know what a computer was, those of you who were lucky enough to know one at young age probably didn't expect that a keyboard and a screen would give so much power. Right now he's very afraid, right now he's trembling in fear. He's trying to run away with his massive army. But he can't hide, he went from a Mr. Somebody only in Uganda to a well known individual in matter of just two days. Now the world know who he is, how he looks like. He can't hide for too long. Now, before you post the next pointless status update, check in at your own bedroom (I can't believe Facebook allow a bed to be a venue) think, think on an idea you want to share, something you want to change, the world probably share the same idea you have and you will be heard loud and clear.

Just a typical morning in new york before september 11, 2001

This entry is a bit nostalgic. Ten Years ago at this same hour many people suffered. I know I have readers in the countries that may not see United States with good eyes, I have readers in the entire world. I want you to start thinking if all actions taken by both sides are correct.
Ten years ago many people left for work leaving family behind and promising to come back, leaving pregnant women, dropping kids at school. many others just took a flight that never landed, others like me were looking for school and got forced to walk many miles on foot, many others went to rescue others and never came back, in the best cases they suffered visible and invisible injuries that may never heal, we all got hurt that day.
While many others decided over the lives of thousands of people. WHY? because these under attack had a different color of skin, believed in a different method of politics, had a different religious view. If you think they deserved what they got, I would like you to think for a moment how would your family feel if one morning you left and never came back.
You know what's that really make me mad? Religion was supposed to be a set of teachings from whatever God you follow, it was supposed to guide society to be better. Yet because we follow different religious some say Gehovah is the lord, others say Allah is the lord, some say is Buddha. At the end of the day doesn't matter who was the lord, whoever the lord was, was somebody good guiding the society to be better. We don't know who the lord truly was. What if all of us are right and God in reality were many of them just that they decided to divide what they were to govern. I mean you are the head of your household but you can't be the head household at your brother's house. What if that's the case? what if in the end there's Allah, Buddha, Muhammad, Jehovah all of them.
They all would like us all to behave well. How would they feel about today? today their children went to war against each other ten years ago. I think is time we take a good look at each other and start to cooperate with each other doesn't matter what religion we follow. After September 2011 I attended a great High School in New York with people from many religions, many of those are readers of this blog, they are my friends or aquaintances, Ironically many of them came to the United States running from the war US vs their country. This is why my facebook, myspace, tagged, hi5, google profile is blank on 'religious view' and politic because politics and religions are the disgrace of the world.
Today you are sitting here reading, lucky you and lucky me who typed this for you to read. What I want you to know is that you have a gift that's is life, what do you do with it? that rests for you to learn, just go and make a difference with your life. God gave you a new chance to live, go take full advantage of it. What if your life were to end suddenly? you never know, and you never know how would it end. Ten years ago, there thousands lost didn't know how was going to end, these in wars despite being in a war didn't know when, where, how but it happened.

Let's do something more productive with our lives besides hating each other. We only have one life we can't screw it up and get a new chance like in the videogames, we don't respawn like in Call of Duty.

Just remember this, we all have a "built date" we all know when was it. But we all also have an expiration date but we don't know when it is. Even those hospitalized with horrible injuries after 9/11 didn't know when was their expiration date. What would you do before that date approaches?

Religion: A get together/motivational group or a way to create panic

 I have been working hard submerged in getting my business going. Also was working on three different postings coming out soon. There I was waiting on the bus like always minding my own business when the following a complete caravan passed right up Jamaica avenue. I couldn't believe my eyes see yourself what I saw.

It was a van painted in the same colors with a siren on which allowed them to call the attention of people and 8 buses probably full of people fully painted including the windows.
First of all that's not awesome news I want live forever not just one more month, second is the fact that are you serious??? two things are wrong with this picture. Number one I think is freaking scary you driving down the highway and see this bus. I can agree you can say Grrr people, or in the worst case scenario have a heart attack and make a huge pile up. I bet you agree that's doomsday come true. Number two how can the bible guarantee this? According to our religion the bible was written by humans inspired by God many years ago. There was no calendar there was nothing. The calendar we currently use the Gregorian Calendar started to be used in February 1582. How can the bible predict an event on a date of a calendar that doesn't even exist?

I used to be a church guy I would go to church every Sunday, enter the church every other day just to enter. But I got driven away from church little by little. I didn't get away from God I still pray, I'm still a good guy. The reason for me leaving was. One, with the respect of my Mexican friends but they would decorate the church in the Mexican flag colors for cinco de mayo and Mexican independence. I have to admit, Mexican are the most religious among Hispanic maybe because they are the most populated hispanic country so we have more of them religious. No but seriously they appear to be very religious. But come on, let's be honest with ourselves. According to the creationism (largely accepted by church) God created the earth, he didn't created the United States, The United States Of Mexico, Dominican Republic etc. NO that was created by us. So if that was created by us, Why a church gets to wear the colors of a country in particular? Why would a church wear the colors of any country when for God there's no country? God talk about loving one another, we "are all brothers and sisters" why do my church bless the troops fighting overseas? I guess you agree God is not happy with the war particularly because some other church "on the enemy side" is asking him for help to win against USA, USA is asking for the same. It's ok for the parents of these fighters to pray for the return of their sons and daughters. Is your family, you pray every time for your children and friends to be safe, but the church asking God to help a particular troop to win even if I live in the United States that's wrong. Church should promote unity and peace. Another thing that made me walk away is the fact that we live in a world of negativity, I tune in to religious channels sometimes and I hear good stuff, I tune in to Les Brown, John C Maxwell as well trying to get some positivism in my life. I go to church "the holiest place in your neighborhood" and what do I get? Negative messages, "the end is near" "you will burn in hell" I don't want to hear that so I choose to step out.

I just can't live with negative messages and apparently the church have adopted scare tactics. The bus situation go far enough to use the bible THE BIBLE THE HOLY BOOK as an endorser of this campaign. Next to me that day was a Muslim woman also waiting for the bus. I could see her nodding her head in disapproval, I could see her face of disgust. I briefly spoke with her and confirmed it, putting a date on "the end" is not that great thing and then using the bible as a guarantee that it's gonna happen.  To me that's distasteful it's also a breach of one of the ten commandments, I have more to go on this particular statement.
While cutting my hair a news flash on "primer Impacto" (first impact news) of Univision they were talking about this girl sweating blood. Instead of taking the girl to the hospital, the neighbors are seeing this as a miracle, the neighbors are seeing this as a signal and gathering around this girl to ask her for miracles. People if there's an end somewhere we are close. According to the bible which these fans try to put in question here God sent destruction once because people were idolizing other stuff before him. Well this is happening now, instead of studying what's wrong with this girl, let see this as a miracle and she can make miracles come true really? Well I wonder if I came out flashing thunder through my eyes, capable of creating a current of 16000 watts walking around with a hat. Does that make me miraculous? wait a second that make me Rayden from Mortal Kombat lol. My new found barber and I were talking about this. He got to the conclusion.

A miracle is not a miracle unless I see it happening right before my eyes. In this age of multimedia with church struggling to gather people anything can be done to get the people back in the church. I have seen cases of the Christ with tears of blood. what if they put that "blood" there and now let's call Univision, Telemundo, ABC to inform about this, now we have people coming from all around the world.

His view is too radical but  I have to be honest at some point he's right. What could revive the faith? "a miracle" if it doesn't happen let's make it happen. I  wont play with God's word in that way. I think that people lost faith, people lost respect for God, and even the church who is supposed to talk about God's words is supposed to be the medium between God and the world is going to these extremes. You have to start questioning what kind of world are we living today. If this was written in the book as religious say as religious want to make you believe (trying to create chaos) how come the governments of the world didn't see this earlier? maybe create a space ship and send some of us out of here to save humanity. Once again if God want to exterminate humanity doesn't matter where you run you are done, but if that's not the plan, God would allow a few to get away. Hey I'm sitting down here writing on a computer, God gave someone the knowledge to make it. Again if 5/21/11 was the final day, he would have let someone he wanted to be safe know, build a space ship and leave (modern day Noah) Using the bible to back up such a statement if we all wake up on May 22,2011 is breaking with one of the ten commandments wrongfully using the name of God, using the name of God in vain.

Look my friend, you don't worry continue to live your life, if you are one of those doubting all the church's movement, just make sure you are a good person, make sure to do good all the time. To me the end of the days still like the old times (when I die) We already went through the Y2K some of you reading this publication on 4/9/2011 the youngest could be as young as 11 you know nothing of this. But if you are at least 16 you might remember how scared your parents were on new year 2000. Satellites will drop off the skies into people's head, computers will go crazy, planes will crash. Well guess what, there was mass suicide, there were a lot of people depressed and nothing of that actually happened. My digital watch reluctantly marked 0:00:01 01/01/00. The windows 98 computer in my grandma's house went with no problem into the year 2000. If we are indeed living the final years fine. But we wont stop living, we wont stop because that's why God gave you a life for. You know when was your birthday, I'm pretty sure about that, but we don't know our expiration date. Scientists know when the earth was born, but nobody can tell when is the planet expiring independently of how many predictions they have. Predictions sometimes they are true sometimes they are not. Some of you came from playing a lottery ticket, you predicted that those numbers would win tonight, How sure are you that those numbers are winning? How many times have you predicted these numbers to win? Rare occasion like last week seven employees from upstate NY predicted correctly, but millions more predicted wrong. Live your life, when the end come will come and you know that you lived your life, you did the right thing, you was a good person. That's all you have to keep in mind.

Hello everybody I thank you for being a loyal audience. This is my first entry for this year and I'm thankful to have you all here reading me it was a long absence but things happen.
The other night I was playing some video games with my brother. He? well me and him grew up together we were the closest in height in the house. I have 3 brothers but he was the one willing to go with me and play baseball, let's go and try to play some basketball. I have two others but one was always sick to go and be crazy like us and the other one was a baby we can't take him to play baseball with us come on. He was a cool guy we would have a lot of fun, very respectful kid, I hardly saw him doing homeworks and somehow this kid always did average in school. However he started to hang out with the wrong crowd I say. He brought in good values we didn't have. I used to thank God for the food but by myself we never sat on the table to pray and thank God for the food. Surprisingly now I'm doing it that's really good. But at the same time my brother is yelling at everybody,  saying horribly tasting jokes like "hey piece of $#$ how you doing?" that's terrible there.
Well the other night we were playing NBA 2K11 and well I have a bad controller PS3 please check your controllers all of them are messing up the same way. I go for a dunk and the player end up passing the ball in mid air. Most times that would result in turnover, or I would go for a dunk and it would start marking a play I never heard of and now I have to execute it and unfortunately the play ends with a dunk I do it and is 24 seconds. Add that the fact that I'm talking to my girlfriend. He was winning by 18 points with 3 minutes left and one of my best players injured thanks to attempting to make a pass in the air. Why did he started to jack 3 after 3 after 3 it seemed like a 3pts contest. He won by 40 because my defense was bad thank to the controller. I stood up and said I'm not playing with you no more. His answer? "come on bro I haven't been here since Thursday and that's what you give me" what I said to my pal, my gaming buddy, my best friend was even more surprising "Damn seems like it was yesterday that you was here" he was actually out for 4 days.
What I'm asking you now is where are you? are you the one that people can't wait to see you that people love to be around or you are like my brother you are out for four days and seem like if you left yesterday? If you are planning to be a happy person, have a lot of friends, if you are planning to be the go to person, if you are planning to go in business you better make sure you are the one people can't wait to see. A L Williams said that nobody like to be around a complaining cry baby. Nobody want to be around someone with a bad attitude. That's true you gotta make sure to have the attitude that if you go out in business the whole world want to follow you. You have to make sure that if you go away, people miss you. Make sure if you go away for a minute people don't exhale and say "thanks God"
But how you do it? make sure you have a great attitude, make sure to be excited about anything even the $200 dollars check you are getting Friday. Make sure you are a happy person that raise curiosity and people will come to you just to see what are you happy about. In some cases they think you are high on something or something like that. One day I think last month one of my former schoolmate (sorry I don't have your name here) posted this on her facebook. I completely agreed with her and so did 19 who clicked like and other 9 who commented including myself.

Well guys to be honest with you this quote better fit another blog entry coming up. But it helps reminding that you have to be happy in order to succeed.
We all know that you can't be in business by yourself. Business is nothing but a happy person with some products and services to provide. Sometimes like in my case besides the products and services you have a business opportunity to offer. Remember what I said about always be happy? about always be excited about something? people would never know of your business because they will never approach you or let you approach them if your attitude suck. You smell bad, you don't dress properly, you have profane language, you walk by life like if someone owe you and forgot and worse you forgot how much. My friend you will never make it. "Ok Victor I learned that but I've been trying and it feel fake" Bill Whittle a great guy, very successful man in my business said "do it anyway, it would feel weird in the beginning it would feel fake in the beginning but soon you find your groove you put your own stuff and guess what? wouldn't be that fake no more" make it your own, mean it "well Victor I have been trying for 2 weeks and doesn't work" well i tell you what my friend, go and plant a corn seed and wait for it to grow and reproduce. It wont happen right? Nothing happen overnight, success is not meant to be overnight. During this absence I have been working hard on my business, I have been reading books, attending meetings and events. You have to cultivate yourself in order to succeed. "well Victor I'm a grocery owner and all I have to do is open the door and people walk in" Awesome my friend good for you. Now go and yell to a couple of your employees and then yell to some customers and see if you have happy employees tomorrow. Also would help to keep a picture of that customer you yelled at and see if that customer ever come back. You have to have a good attitude at all times even if your business sell itself.
The other day I was riding the bus in Brooklyn. I come in talk to the driver it was the first stop I was going to Kings Plaza mall. I talk to the bus driver, also spoke to him about what I'm doing. The bus starts, three stops later after the driver had this smile he was going home after this trip and luckily he would finish it in good mood. An uncoupled couple comes in the guy first he swipes twice and the woman follow. The driver wants to know who is he paying for since there was a mother with 3 teenage kids she paid four times. The driver wants to know who he paid for and this is the conversation
Guy: "oh no I'm not with her"
Driver: "ok sir thank you but you paid twice, either she pays her fare to me or pays to you because you paid twice"
Guy: "who the &((* you think you are to tell me what to do? this is my wife and you better don't mess with her"
Driver: "Look guys I want you to respect my bus, this is business, you want to play your game? ok but outside my bus"
.....
That couple can't make new friends other than friends similar to them. You can't help it, some people just have a nasty attitude and would want to take you out of sync at any point. You have to be prepared to face them. In that case the bus driver trying to be all professional he ended up being influenced by the perverse couple and he ended up yelling at his replacement too. You have to be strong and counter all kinds of attacks to your tranquility. because there would be people trying to take you our of concentration, there would be people trying to distract you. Certainly you have to keep certain kind of people away if you want to be successful, you have to be willing to say no to certain people if you want to become someone meaningful. Stay focused and you will see it happening, welcome rejections, welcome difficulties, dance on the face of adversity and you will get stronger. Smile to life and success will find it way to you.

Believing

Last night I was riding the train home when something caught my attention. Someone left behind a note that reads "Pray for Bibi (driving test)"
That really hit me because in this world today people don't believe in anything good, is cool finding someone who believe in miracles. Yeah I prayed I prayed for her to be a very good driver and not be me one victim if I ask God to help her pass she gets her license and slam her car on the very guy that prayed for her lol.
Well actually someone just got his license some months ago and slammed his car into the very same department of motor and vehicles in Florida that just issued him the license.
